TUE 10AM EDT - TD ONE Forms Off The FL Coast

Invest 91L quickly became better organized late Monday evening & the NHC has upgraded it to the first named storm of the season, Tropical Depression One. Here is the forecast from the NHC. TS Watches have been issued for a portion of the FL coast from Fort Pierce northward to just south of Flagler Beach. Most of the heaviest rain/wind should stay off the FL coast, but some feeder bands may bring heavy downpours and gusty winds at times. Later in the week, the NHC currently forecasts what is to be CAT 1 Hurricane Arthur impacting the Carolinas, but we have a lot of time to monitor the system until then. Models are trending with keeping the center offshore of NC. Tap on the in-depth storm feed on TD1's page in the app for the most frequent real time updates.
