Tropical Depression 7 has formed from Invest 97L we have been following. Tropical Storm warnings are in effect for Puerto Rico. The system will likely intensify to TS Gabrielle with the next 12-24 hours or so. The main threat in the short term will be heavy rains producing flash flooding throughout Puerto Rico. At this time, this system is not expected to affect the US.
