There are several areas in the tropics we are watching. First, low pressure appears to be trying to organize just east of the Yucatan Peninsula. This will likely move west into the Bay of Campeche. Second, Invest 97L is having trouble organizing due to its large, elongated structure. There is also a wave right behind 97L which is making it even harder as the two systems are fighting each other. Models still show development, so we will watch. Finally, Invest 98L near Africa has a low development chance & will move NW & not affect land. 9/3/13 10AM EDT
