Tropical Storm Debby has formed in the extreme southeastern Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to become a hurricane before it makes landfall along the western Florida coast on Monday. Hurricane warnings have been issued by the National Hurricane Center. Once it moves inland over Florida and into Georgia, it is expected to weaken and slow down, which could lead to over a foot of rain falling in some areas.
