Watching Atlantic Wave - 7/27/24 2PM EDT
The NHC is watching a wave in the Central Atlantic that currently has a 30% chance of development through the next 7 days. It will not develop in the short term due to dry air east of the Caribbean. conditions will be more favorable near Hispaniola and the Bahamas, but land interaction may limit development and intensification. quite a bit of uncertainty with this one, but it will need to be watched for development and possible land impacts in the long term. please review the text on the graphic below for further insight from the hurricane tracker app team. stay tuned for further updates on this wave.
