6/19/24 - Watching The Gulf for Additional Development This Weekend
Tropical storm Alberto will be moving into Mexico tomorrow. Behind it, we will be watching the fruitful Bay of Campeche for additional development as another system may develop in the southern Gulf of Mexico. Right now, The National Hurricane Center is giving the system a 40% chance of development. The system is expected to be weak if it does develop and generally track to the west northwest towards the Mexican Gulf Coast much like Alberto did. At the very least, it could be more beneficial rains to parts of Texas next week. We will be watching the system closely and will provide any further updates if necessary. Please check the outlook section in the app for further information. Thanks for using the Hurricane Tracker App.
