The NHC has initiated advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 located off the southeastern coast of the U.S. This system will likely develop into a tropical or sub-tropical storm by the end of the day on Friday and track north toward the coastline of NC. A tropical storm warning and a storm surge watch have been issued for portions of the southeast and Mid-Atlantic coastlines. Winds are expected to peak near 60 mph and it’s forecasted to come ashore in eastern NC on Saturday morning. Premium graphics will be available in-app soon for subscribers.
