Since our last post in September, most storms have recurved out to sea except for Ophelia, which impacted the mid-Atlantic and Philippe, which affected the NE Carib & Bermuda. We’re concerned that newly tagged Invest 94L near Africa may track farther west and impact the eastern Caribbean in about 8-10 days. The NHC currently states there's a 30% chance of development. We are not seeing any imminent turn north like we've seen with the last several systems. We will watch this one closely and provide updates in the coming days. Hurricane season officially ends on Nov 30th.
