The latest track on Ian from the NHC has the storm as a major hurricane near the west coast of FL on Wednesday with winds near 120/130 mph and moving slow. Now is the time to prepare if you are in the cone and especially near the forecast track. The next day or so will be the time make preparations and begin to execute your hurricane plan. Also listen to local evacuation orders if given. This will be a strong, dangerous hurricane and could track even closer to Tampa than currently forecasted. Those of you along the FL panhandle should be ok, but keep an eye on the forecast. Stay tuned for updates.
