Tropical Depression 7 has formed in the tropical Atlantic. It’s forecasted to become TS Fiona within 12-24 hours. The NHC forecast track takes it towards the Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico where impacts are possible Friday and Saturday. It should stay a minimal to moderate tropical storm through the next several days. It is not forecasted to become a hurricane at this time as the environment is not conducive for much strengthening.
