Tropical Storm Jose is meandering off the coast of southern New England. Tropical storm conditions to continue over extreme SE New England through tomorrow. Jose is a large system. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 205 miles from the center. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next couple of days, and Jose is expected to become post-tropical tomorrow. Jose has now been a named storm for 16 days. That makes it the eighth longest named storm on record.
