10/2/15 - Joaquin Will Likely Miss The U.S. - May Affect Bermuda.

Hurricane Joaquin is still a CAT 4 130 mph hurricane this afternoon. Hurricane warnings continue in the Bahamas where hurricane conditions have persisted for the last 36 hours in some places. Joaquin has made the turn to the north and should begin to move towards the NE by tomorrow morning on a path out to sea. There is some risk that Joaquin may affect Bermuda late this weekend. We have kept low alert levels for the east coast just in the off chance Joaquin moves more towards the west since the steering flow is very delicate. We will update you if there are any big changes in the forecast.
