SE US/Gulf Trouble next week? 4 major models now develop the Central Atlantic wave (now Invest 96L) and track it WNW towards SE US/Gulf of Mexico as high pressure builds in the SW Atlantic. It is the time of year and we will watch the evolution of this pattern very closely. The NHC is currently giving this wave a 60% chance of development over the next 5 days. As always, we will have daily updates as new model runs come in. Check back here around 3PM EDT this afternoon for a full update.
