TS Erin Has Formed In The Eastern Atlantic

The 5th tropical storm of the season has formed in the east Atlantic. Conditions are favorable for intensification through the weekend. In 3-5 days it will begin to encounter a more stable environment which may begin to weaken any organization. Lots of time to watch it.

Invest 92L in the west Carib is still trying to organize and may not do so until it crosses the Yucatan Peninsula. A track towards the northern Gulf coast is the most likely, but a track west towards Mexico/S TX cannot be ruled out just yet. There is a chance this wave never develops and just becomes a big rain producer for someone. Development chances are decreasing.
