Tropical Storm Chantal: 5 AM ET, 45 mph winds, 1011 mb, moving WNW at 29 mph. Chantal may be opening into a wave and advisories will possibly be ended later today. Hurricane hunters can no longer find a closed circulation. This is great news for those of you in the Caribbean and the southeast US. The system could always reform/intensify later this week, but may have a hard time doing so due to close proximity to land. Stay tuned for updates.
