The NHC has initiated advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone 8 off the Southeastern U.S. coastline. A tropical storm warning is an effect for a portion of the South Carolina and North Carolina coastlines. It’s expected to become TS Helene sometime overnight and move inland into South Carolina and weaken tomorrow. Heavy rain, coastal surge, and tropical storm force winds can be expected near the track throughout the next 24 hours. Premium graphics will be available within a few minutes for subscribers.

9/11/24 - Francine Moving Into Louisiana

Francine has become a category 2 hurricane with winds of 100 mph and the worst will be moving into southern and southeastern Louisiana this afternoon and evening. The hurricane is tracking east of the official track and this may bring the eye wall and hurricane conditions into the New Orleans metro through the next several hours. Storm surge and hurricane warnings are in effect. Please stay safe if you are in the path of Francine. 9/10/24 - Francine Is Now a Hurricane

Francine has been upgraded to a hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. Further strengthening is expected the next 24 hours before it makes landfall tomorrow night somewhere along the central Louisiana coastline. When should peak somewhere near 90 mph.
