9/11/24 - Francine Moving Into Louisiana
Francine has become a category 2 hurricane with winds of 100 mph and the worst will be moving into southern and southeastern Louisiana this afternoon and evening. The hurricane is tracking east of the official track and this may bring the eye wall and hurricane conditions into the New Orleans metro through the next several hours. Storm surge and hurricane warnings are in effect. Please stay safe if you are in the path of Francine. New premium graphics will be available shortly for subscribers as soon as we get the latest NHC data files and our servers process them.
