9/20/24 - Watching The Gulf Next Week

Data is coming into better agreement that we may see a tropical storm or hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico sometime next week. Pretty much all major guidance is showing development, but can’t yet agree on a track which is not surprising this far out. The NHC states there’s a 50% chance of development as of their latest outlook. At this point, we have plenty of time to watch how this unfolds and there is no imminent threat. We would advise all interests along the entire Gulf Coast to monitor future NHC outlooks and keep tabs on this possible development.
