The first storm of the season in the Atlantic Basin has formed. Tropical Storm Andrea has formed in the central Atlantic. It will be a short-lived storm and will weaken by Wednesday evening as conditions become unfavorable for the storm to sustain itself. Andrea is not a threat to land, but is noteworthy as it has been labeled as the first storm to form this season the Atlantic. Behind Andrea, we are not expecting any new development during the next 10 days.
