Debby made landfall in the Florida Big Bend region this morning AS a category 1 hurricane. Debby is now over northern FL and has weakened back to a tropical storm. Debby is forecasted to move off the coast near the GA SC border in about 36 hours. Debby should move very slowly near the SC coast during the next 2 to 3 days before moving back inland later this week. Due to the slow movement, Debby will produce rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 feet potentially across portions of the SE United States, which will lead to major flooding. Please prepare for flooding and stay safe if you are along in the path of Debby.
