A broad area of low pressure is forecast to form south or southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico during the next day or so. Gradual development of this system is possible thereafter, and a tropical depression could form this weekend or early next week while the system meanders off the southwestern coast of Mexico. Chance of development is 60%.
