Tropical Storm Fay has formed off the coast of NC with winds of 45 mph. This system will strengthen a bit and track NNE towards New England where up to 5 inches of rain and ts force winds will be possible Friday and Saturday. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Cape May, New Jersey to Watch Hill, Rhode Island, including Long Island and Long Island Sound.
