Tropical Storm Hanna will approach the lower Texas coast on Saturday with winds near 65 mph. A tropical storm warning is in effect from the Rio Grande to Sabine Pass. Hanna is expected to produce 4 to 8 inches of rain with isolated maximum totals of 12 inches through Sunday night in south Texas. Peak storm surge will be in the 1-3’ foot range. All interests along the western Gulf coast should closely monitor this system.
