Invest 90L has been upgraded to Tropical Depression #1 making this the 6th Atlantic hurricane season in a row with development prior to June 1st. A tropical storm watch is in effect for a portion of the NC coast. An upgrade to TS Arthur is likely within 24 hours. This system is unlikely to make landfall, but many bring ts conditions to portions of the NC Outer Banks in 2-3 days as it passes by to the east. Stay tuned for updates.
