The Hurricane Hunters have found that Delta is now a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. Delta is the strongest Greek alphabet named Atlantic hurricane on record. Category 5 status is possible given the current trends and favorable environment. Hurricane warnings in place for the NE portion of the Yucatan Peninsula.
