Tropical Depressions 8 and 9 have formed in the eastern Atlantic. TD 8 will impact the southern Cabo Islands as a tropical storm this weekend and then turn out into the open Atlantic next week. TD 8 will track west towards the Caribbean and if forecasted to become a hurricane on approach next week. All interests in the Cabo Verde Islands & Caribbean should monitor these systems. The next two names on the list are Helene and Isaac.
