Florence is once again a major hurricane and continues to strengthen. The NHC forecasts peak intensity at 150-mph. The cyclone will make landfall somewhere on the Carolinas Thursday evening with winds likely in excess of 140 mph. It's too early to pinpoint the exact landfall location, but the odds currently favor the NC/SC border in terms of landfall location. Prepare now if you are in or near the NHC cone.
