Latest model data is latching onto the idea of a tropical storm or minimal hurricane forming in the Gulf within the next 5 days. The National Hurricane Center currently gives a 40% chance of development. If you are a resident or have interests along the northern Gulf coast, please watch the tropics closely during the next 5 days.
