A tropical storm watch has been issued for Hawaii County. A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch area within 48 hours. Interests elsewhere in the Hawaiian Islands should monitor the progress of Hector. Most of the active weather associated with Hector will pass south of Hawaii.
