Tap this banner to read: Irma remains a CAT 5 storm this evening with 185 mph winds. A hurricane warning has been issued for the central Bahamas and a hurricane watch for the northwestern Bahamas. Please read the NHC Public Advisory for a full listing of all watches and warnings. After Irma impacts the Bahamas Fri/Sat, it's forecasted by the NHC to make landfall near Miami Sunday afternoon as a CAT 4 hurricane. A second landfall along the GA or SC is possible Monday afternoon. All residents and interests along the path of Irma should take this hurricane very seriously and listen to local emergency management officials. Also, we now have Hurricane Katia & Hurricane Jose. Katia will impact Mexico near Veracruz on Friday where a hurricane watch is in effect and Jose should stay in the open Atlantic. Thanks for using Hurricane Tracker.
Note: Our server is running fine, but some data within the app comes from NOAA's servers and NHC images may be slow to load at times due to the unprecedented user load their servers are experiencing due to Major Hurricane Irma. Unfortunatley, we are not able to do anything about their server load times.
