Hurricane Maria is a powerful Category 5 hurricane today with winds of 165 mph. Maria is tracking across the northeastern Caribbean toward the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, Maria will bring life-threatening storm surge, flooding rainfall and destructive winds to the area tonight and tomorrow morning. We pray for everyone's safety.

As of now, the latest model guidance suggests that Maria will not impact the lower 48, but we will keep an eye on any potential changes and keep you updated. Bermuda should keep an eye on Maria as it could get close enough for impacts.
