Sent to Caribbean push region:

Maria has been upgraded to the 7th hurricane of the 2017 Atlantic season with winds of 75 mph. Tropical storm & hurricane watches and warnings are in effect for portions of the Caribbean. Please see the full summary of watches and warnings below. Maria is forecasted to become a Category 3 hurricane in 3 days with winds near 125 mph. Unfortunately, many of the same areas that were impacted by Irma will also be impacted by Maria. Finally, it's too early to determine if Maria will impact the Bahamas or the United States east coast. We can say at this time we do not see a clear path out to sea at this time and this hurricane will need to be monitored closely. Thanks for using Hurricane Tracker.
