TD 14 has been upgraded to TS Lee in the far eastern Atlantic. Also, Potential Tropical Cyclone (former 96L) has formed east of the Lesser Antilles. TS watches have been issued for St. Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe & Dominica. PTC 15 is forecasted to become Hurricane Maria by early next week as it approaches the eastern Caribbean, This system will need to be watched for potential U.S. & Bahamas impacts about 7-10 days from now. Finally, Jose will bring swells, rip currents and potentially tropical storm force winds to the NC Outer Banks and far SE New England next week. It's a busy time in the tropics, stay tuned to Hurricane Tracker for the latest.

NOTE: DUE TO EXTREMELY HIGH TRAFFIC DUE TO MULTIPLE ACTIVE SYSTEMS RIGHT NOW, YOU MAY NOTICE A TEMPORARY SLOW DOWN ONLY AT THE TIME A PUSH NOTIFICATION IS SENT. CHECK BACK A FEW MINUTES LATER AS THE APP WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL. WE WILL ADDRESS THIS IN OUR NEXT UPDATE. THANK YOU!

Forecasted wind swatch for Jose shows TS winds could affect far eastern NC & far SE New England. Swells and rip currents will affect the entire eastern U.S. seaboard.
