TS Gert has formed in the western Atlantic & is expected to remain offshore. Gert is the earliest "G" storm to form in the Atlantic since 2005. We are also now tracking a strong tropical wave near Africa, Invest 91L for development. NHC states there's currently a 30% chance of development.
