Tropical Depression 12 was upgraded to Tropical Storm Karl. Over the next several days, Karl will track generally towards west or even west-southwest and then begin to turn NW around Tue/Wed of next week. At this time it appears Karl will track well north of the Caribbean and will likely become a strong hurricane next week. Chances of a U.S. impact from Karl are very low, but interests in Bermuda should monitor this system over the next 7-10 days. We will let you know if there any major changes with Karl's forecast.
