TS warnings have been issued for the west coast of the Yucatan Peninsula as Invest 93L has been upgraded to Tropical Depression 9. It is expected to become TS Hanna by tomorrow before it moves across the Yucatan Peninsula and weakens. The NHC forecast is for the system to dissipate in the NW Caribbean due to dry air becoming a factor later in the week, but that is still several days away and the forecast could change. As of now, the biggest threat is for heavy rainfall over the Yucatan Peninsula and Cuba. There is no US threat at this time. If this changes, we will let you know.

If you have plans to travel to Cancun, Cozumel etc keep them. This will be a nuisance event and not a major problem. Low impact.
