Development Possible This Week

There is a decent chance of tropical cyclone formation in the very southern part of the Bay of Campeche early this week. If a system develops, it will move west towards the lower Gulf coast of Mexico. NOT a concern for US residents. The NHC is currently giving this system a 30% chance of development.

 A tropical wave in eastern Atlantic needs to be watched closely mid-late week for development as it has some continued model support. If it develops, it could be a threat to land. We will keep you updated here.
