11PM EDT TS Karen update: 45 mph winds, NNW at 7 mph, 1002 mb. NHC states its realistic that Karen may dissipate within 24 hrs.

Karen’s center void of any major convection and the system may not recover due to very dry air and sting wind shear. Residents along the Gulf coast can breathe a sigh of relief.
