TUE 9/9 9AM EDT: Watching Near The Bahamas

There is currently a mid/upper level feature over the SE Bahamas that is producing sustained convection. As the system moves slowly towards the WNW this week, there is a chance that it could work down and develop a weak surface low. The chances of this happening are low, but a weak tropical depression off the FL coast by the end of the week cannot be ruled out. This area has not yet been mentioned by the NHC. Just something to watch as it's close to shore. We will keep you updated as conditions change.

Also, we are still tracking 91L in the open Atlantic. There is a high chance it will develop & stay out over the open waters. There also may be a hurricane threat to Cabos San Lucas/Baja Peninsula  in the near future as well. Stay tuned for updates.
